+1 yHmm, Iām curious to know what girls have been taught through their lives about hitting a guy in the testicles? Iām not one to advocate unnecessary violence (especially if not performed in a safe, sane, and voluntary manner between consenting individuals), but Iād imagine that thereād be utility in using such a weakness against a guy if necessary.
TBH, I donāt truly know what itād be like or what effect it might actually have. I played soccer for 11 years and took many (mostly indirect) hits by feet, knees, legs, and soccer balls between my legs, but they hardly phased me in the moment given the situation/adrenaline/endorphins involved. This said, although I have my faults, Iām not generally seen as a jerk/A-hole such that one might deliberately attempt a direct hit upon me there. Iāve seen guys get dropped on TV and in movies, but I donāt have the personal experience upon which I may base any assumptions. I donāt know if the guys get dropped because of the surprise involved, not expecting to be hit there, or because it actually hurts that badly?
Now Iām curious to know what itād truly be/feel like to be deliberately hit directly in the balls by a girl. I canāt say that this is something that has come up in conversation, and I wouldnāt know how to bring up exploring such an experiment with a willing female friend. I definitely wouldnāt want it done out of anger, since a girl might be off with her aim, so if I was going to try this, itād have to involve a mutually agreed upon experiment (between an interested/willing female friend and me) to explore the actual effects caused by deliberate, direct hits to my balls. I feel strange for being curious about this now... thoughts?10 Reply

The only reason you should feel bad is if you didnāt turn your foot after you landed the kick. Really get up in there.
Also if it was completely unwarranted. Like he said something you didnāt like. If he didnāt put his hands on you or corner you, basically you had no other choice but to defend yourself-yes. Feel bad.
But if it was truly self-defense, only feel bad if you didnāt turn that foot. Make him think twice about doing whatever he did again. Iām teaching my daughters that move as soon as theyāre toddlers. Thereās nothing wrong with self-defense.
But it absolutely must be self-defense. Always walk away if itās an option. If itās not, plant the foot youāre supporting your weight with firmly in front of you as if youāre taking a step, bring your kicking foot back as far as it can go without you losing your balance, and kick with everything you got. When your toes make contact, turn your foot as swiftly as you can. While heās hunched over gasping for air, push his shoulders forward with both hands.

Hopefully theyāll use it the way I teach them and I donāt get a call from school saying āYour daughters have been going around kicking boys in their private areas. We need you to come to the school.ā ššš
But oh yes. Iām absolutely teaching my daughters self defense and early too. There are way too many women out here who are afraid to verbally and physically defend themselves from men who end up becoming victims. My girls wonāt be part of that crowd. Iām teaching them confidence and independence very early. - +1 y
Do you have a video? I did not understand it. First you kick normally with the instep and second you pull the foot back pressing above.
- +1 y
@standardguy. Nah. Hold your foot out and rotate your toes in a circular motion inward. Stop about 45 degrees inward. Thatās the move. (Yeah this is better if you see it).
Basically you do the kick then that inward toe rotation swiftly. Your kicking the balls and then your adding extra damage by jerking them away from his body. - 3 mo
I guarantee you this wonāt work against a stronger guy whoās actually trying to harm you.
+1 yIf he's trying to do something to me, yes I would. It's the easiest way to hinder him. I've done it accidentally rough-playing and felt horribly about it.
But if it's a drunk guy copping a feel when I don't want to, I wouldn't do it. It depends on the severity of his actions.20 Reply
Anonymous(30-35)+1 yYes, I was at a party and he didn't take no for an answer. He was a lot bigger and stronger than me, so I played along for a while before taking him by surprise with a knee. He was a friend's friend and I found out later he had to have one removed at the hospital.

Opinion Owner+1 yI regret having his blood on my hands, or rather, knee. But I do not regret defending myself. Yes, he did. And when his girlfriend found out how he got injured, she dumped him.

Ladies, if your life is in danger, do whatever the heck you have to do and never feel bad for it. However, hitting the balls is not always the most effective way to stop a man and might make some men all the more determined to hurt you. It will stop most, but some men CAN resist that pain, especially if they have any formal training that increases their mental fortitude to make them ignore pain or if they are on drugs. Some better tactics are to punch his Adam's apple, gouge the eyes, kick the back of the leg hard to make his knee bend the way it normally would so he falls or smack the back of his head (where the small part of the spine ends and connects the neck and head) HARD.

+1 yYes and I've done it before when I was 19. He tried knocking me off a trampoline when I was about to come eat supper. My neck was literally 3 inches from being poked by a sharp tree limb that could have killed me.
I don't play that stuff. If a man try attacking me, I'm aiming for the aims. No excuse for a college pal to horseplay like that and kept messing with me when I said to stop. I was 5'3.5" 109 lbs at time and he was 5'11" 185 lbs. It was my only defense when he tried bullying me because he was jealous of a woman I was seeing because it was his sister.00 Reply2.1K opinions shared on Other topic. If you kicked him in self defense, there is not reason to feel bad about it, except that you feel bad for having to do it. if you kicked him just to kick him, and you could get away with it because he was drunk, then you should feel bad, as you committed a crime and unnecessarily hurt a person.

+1 yI will accidentally have my ankle slip and gently tap my balls and that will hurt to where it feels like I want to throw up for a straight minute. So kicking a guy in the balls should only be done if it's something really bad, if he really is a scumbag go ahead.

What do you mean, to "open" with that? You're saying that like you were having a fight, when you actually just assaulted them.

Its is horrible, I had an incident with a smaller girl when imwws a frat boy, she used a back kick up between my legs followed by a back hand chop into one of mine, I was in the fetal position in seconds and had to go to the ER that night!
+1 yAs a guy, I don't think I'll get in the situation where this will be necessary, but I think you did nothing wrong.
If that drunk guy was a threat to you and he wouldn't stop after you told him too, kicking him in the balls is justified in my book.00 Reply
+1 yIf it was legitimate self defense, I'd use anything and everything I could. Ball kicks, eye gouging, gunfire, whatever.

+1 yNope. I aim for the throat. Why? Because if they decided to fight me, they were prepared to fight for their life. Animal kingdom rules. Don't start anything, and there won't be anything.
00 Reply Every woman should practice a good groin kick and a good throat jab. Those are the two most important strikes in woman's self defense vs a man.

+1 yI mean unless your in danger danger I wouldnāt advise it. Itās painful but also not very nice if a guy is just trying to persuade you. If you were being raped itās better to not provoke him into hurting you.

@Beta_Wolf I know, but that has a high probability of permanent brain damage or death. And I really don't want to go to prison.

@Beta_Wolf Well, I live in Africa, and prison is the very last place I ever want to visit here.
If it was self defense, you shouldn't feel too bad about it. In a self defense situation it wouldn't be my first target but if I have few options, I'd kick a guy in the balls.
