I'd rather lose a leg because I'm a pianist. Also, even if I wasn't, I injure my legs a lot as it is. I could get a prosthetic and still walk and run. But if I lost an arm I wouldn't be able to play piano, or type as quickly, or basically use my hands the way that I use them now.

I lost the use of both legs when I was 15. eventually I got the use back. In reality it would be easier to get around in this world with 1 leg then only 1 arm.

I lost my right leg just over a year ago. It's not as bad as you would think. It really is what you make of it. In a lot of ways I am a better man because of it.

I think we have more skill and control with our arms and hands, than our legs and feet and rely on them more, so losing an arm/hand would be harder than losing a leg I'd imagine.
