Do modern myths count? I'd go with Ascians. Immortal beings with power of creation that built a utopian society. Debate was a favored pass-time. Academia was prized over all. There were no personal possessions. All creations were catalogued and available for public use. They wore robes and masks, so no one would be held above another simply because of physical appearance. Their government was a meritocracy, whereby positions of power were given to those based solely upon their ability and deeds. Because they had the power of creation, there was no poverty, no hunger, no homelessness, and no war.

Probably Unicorns in some legends they're completely pure and innocent magical creatures and if you kill one you'll be horribly cursed unless you can pass it's trials. Which if you can not only will your curse be undone but the unicorn will live again.

The hydra. They would quickly solve world hunger. We just farm their heads.

Not to mention, we could convert those heads into biofuel and it’s a great source for unlimited energy.

I mean you just need to have a machine that grab hold of the lower parts of the neck and a spinning blade that continues to constantly the top part of the neck.

The Annunaki, myths say they are highly advanced aliens which have had contact with us in the past. If real they could help save a lot of our problems, like new means to produce energy, live sustainable, etc
