I feel like girls have a disadvantage in life versus men who have it easier. Maybe hormones is a contributing factor. Do you agree? Please explain.

Depends entirely on the context and which society you're in. Sometimes yeah absolutely, sometimes not so much.

Most societies or patriarchal and put women in a lesser position of power, because they are generally physically less powerful. Sometimes it's because reproduction puts a lot of stress on a woman and she has to put a lot of focus and effort into raising child. The only way out of it is to make broad societal change, which comes slowly over decades. It wasn't that long ago the women had to get the right to vote.

In other situations men are disadvantaged, there are more male CEOs but there are also many more male factory workers. Industrial deaths for men far out strip those of women, and divorce court and child custody is very slanted towards women in America.

I just try to be a good person, and treat everybody with equity and fairness. Like they say, you have to be the change you want.
