Have you ever have or actually have hemorrhoids?

I get them after long hours of work, I am a waitress and I am up doing stuff all the time. To be honest they are my biggest insecurity ever, lot more since they are pretty much out of my control. It's a real deal breaker for me when it comes to get intimate with someone new, I am always afraid they will feel repulsed. It's not like awful but it's still bad to me. So I want to know how many people have them and how many mind it.

Yeah, epic drinking back-to-back and sometimes I get those. I hate it. The over-the-counter cream stuff seems to work well though. I haven't had those in ages though. I don't drink that crazy as I did in my 20s. But in my 20s, I was getting them maybe once every couple of years, and they'd last like 1-2 weeks every time.

I'm pretty sure it was in my case. I only got after back-to-back binge drinking for days. Then I'd be all swollen down there for days like my intestine is popping out of the anus. And I think lots of people think of those as itchy and it was sometimes, but for me, it was more painful than itchy.

Also when I went to the toilet back then, sometimes it looked like I aborted a fetus. All blood in there. Then the hemmorhoids. It really sucked.

Those over-the-counter creams though like Preparation H works wonders though in my experience. I would ignore it for a whole week and it wasn't getting much better. Then I'd finally get around to buying and putting on the cream and I'd feel 10 times better within hours.

Mine aren't that serious damn. I never bled like that or anything, just a little smts after wiping for example, nothing serious. And yeah I've started to use a cream recently. It seems to take the pain away but it's still swollen.

I really drank like a lunatic in my 20s: 20-40 drinks in one night and sometimes on Friday night, Saturday night, and even Sunday I think not a problem though if you can treat it. I stopped drinking like that and mine seemed to go away.

You're a bit young for them, they tend to be an older persons problem. Might be worth chatting to a doctor just in case

They're very treatable. It's a bit embarassing but not a deal breaker.
