Try seekingarrangement. It usually says if they are verified however if you agree on a ppm (pay per meet to start with) usually between 200-400 on a 1-2 hour meal date (nothing else) and if they agree (cash only usually safest for now) then they are usually legit.. it is usually the ones that look like they don't have money that do and between ages 35-55 they also tend to be respectful and respect boundaries, however if they refuse on your amount unless it is outrageous that's usually a red flag. Also going on a few dates and getting paid is easy however keeping them as regular 'clients' is pretty difficult. You don't need to do anything sexual however you should be physically attractive and be able to hold a decent conversation, only difference between an actual date is

A) be wary of personal info, don't share uni, real name, bank info etc unless you really know them and even then only for bank transfers

B) remember they are paying for the date (usually) unless it is a month allowance thing or where they 'mentor' you or buy you espensive gifts, that means you need to let them do most the ranting and not make the convo about you.

I've researched into it a little bit and I've read that a common scam is when they ask you for a gift card, yeah, don't fall for that and obviously, don't give out bank details.

There's not a lot I remember regarding researching common scams, but I think the same applies to some agents asking for money, don't fall for that either, like at least make sure you meet and can confirm the person actually exists.

That aside, make sure you use a genuine website where you can find one and just be careful what you tell the person who claims to be a sugar daddy and be careful when meeting them too, like meet in public at least and maybe bring someone with you.
