For those who are thinking of eating them please don’t. You can eat only meat rabbits which are bigger and have more meat compared to small adult rabbits which are only ideal as pets not meant to be eaten

Rabbits are spiteful little creatures specializing in the destruction of electronics and if you cross them, they can easily bite your hand through. You don't expect it of them, but they are pretty aggressive if raised badly. A dog will give you plenty of signals to stay away if there is a problem with it. A rabbit will look all innocent, hop around and suddenly it will jump on you and completely murderize you if you get too close. People who get a rabbit should really know what they are doing because in my humble opinion there should be a weapons permit required to own one.
Also, they are super cute. That's how they lure you in. I am kind of amazed that rabbits are not carnivores, because they totally could be. The claims that they are adorable fluffy pets is all shameless rabbit propaganda and any intelligent human should wake up and inform themselves about the rabbit conspiracy!

I don't know that they are smart. But they are absolutely adorable and most are gentle and good-natured. I love them. They smell fabulous too.

Cute: yes. Smart: hardly. If they'll go after a balloon as if it's a potential sex partner, if they haven't, in the wild, figured out after several months that someone is NOT going to hurt them and they STILL run away even when you give them food, that's not what I'd call, smart.
I'm in a residential area and this house was built for my grandmother back in 1962 and there's been dozens of rabbits living in the area for who knows how long, maybe forever. By now, after several dozen generations of rabbits living here, they should know that people up here are NOT going to hurt them! But, if there's one in the yard and I set foot on the front porch, it scurries off to hide under a bush, even after I've given it food almost every time I've seen it! I'm pretty sure it's the same rabbit because it always hides in the same place.

I have two and had one as a kid. If you ever think of getting one do some research. They are great pets. But people have a bad habit of getting one and winding up over their head due to not do some research and setup before getting one.

Yes, I like Rabbits as pets they are easy to care for and they can be trained to use litter boxes as cats do but there are special littler boxes and litter to use for a rabbit

Yes, rabbits are pretty cute. I have a family of them living under my deck. They come out around four 0'clock to eat. If I see them eating I know that it is around 4 PM.

RE: Update, Yes, pet rabbits are not suitable to eat. Meat rabbits almost look like dogs. When I was in basic training in Texas we had fried rabbit a lot. It was like chicken only you knew the drumsticks were not from a chicken. I was told that the rabbits moved in herds.
