Are MBTI personality tests misleading and false?

1. ENTP
2. ENTJ
3. ISTP
4. ENFP
5. ESFJ

Did you take the test on different websites?
Did you take the tests with lots of time in between?

In generall i think there can be a little variation, for example when you are ambiverted, the result may vary between introverted and extroverted depending on your current mood.

And you may get different results over the years, as you grow and change so will the results.

I just got scared when they even suggested new careers with each new results.
I think you can be whatever you want to be, right?

Sure, be whatever you want. Also thats just a way to put people into categories, there is some truth in it, but it will never fit every single one absolutely perfectly.

Personalities change over time, you develop as a person. That's normal.

Also myers-briggs doesn't even have much of a scientific backing to it, so don't think too hard about it.

Exactly... Only results I get consistently from the same website is ENTP! When I was in need of alone time, I got INTP, lol. But mostly it shows ENTP.

I’d say they are about as accurate as an astrology reading.

did you take them all the same day? or over an extended period of time?

Over an extended period of time.. from the same website I got.

well.. that's what I have noticed about those tests...

some of the questions can be answered in different ways

~ what I THINK I would ~
~ what I SAY I would do ~
~ what I would ACTUALLY DO or HAVE DONE ~

the three can be different sometimes, so the more consistent we are about what we think, we say and what we actually do, the more consistent we will be in this life, but life is still life... and many things change and so do we... that's what time does best, change...

Yes. They are not a good way to learn about yourself or others and have been show to be scientifically invalid.
