What kind of toilet paper do you prefer? What are some pros and cons to each?

We tend to prefer quilted. 1 ply is rough on the keister. The cushy stuff leaves little bits behind (I honestly feel violated by those lol), the kind with ridges is better than the cushy but also leaves the little bits. I don’t think I will ever be on board with reusable toilet paper. You?

If you haven't done already you gotta get a portable bidet. You will never go back after realizing how clean and comfortable your ass feels afterwards compared to using any kind of toilet paper. It also only uses water so it saves money too.

Charmin is the best. Either the red or the blue one - doesn't much matter. There are not many brands that I'll fork over money for, but Charmin is one of them. Buying their toilet paper is worth it if you have it.

Usually prefer single ply especially after taking a wee. I usually fold them multiple times before wiping. I couldn't agree with you more that some do leaves bits and it's not a good feeling at all and you notice them. while showering.
