A big city close by would also be nice (just to make things a little more convenient). 😌
What about you guys? What is your dream house?
You've done a good job of describing my home (minus the lake and husband). Unless you've got hundreds of acres of land or you share a large lake with others, lakes can be very challenging and time consuming to keep healthy. If you want acreage fronting a large lake, you're probably talking about very expensive property. Since I designed and built my home, I guess you can call it my dream home. If you're willing to put forth the effort, you can end up with a lot more home for the money.
There's nothing wrong with a dream, as long as we can separate dream from reality. The last thing you want is to spend your life disappointed with what you do achieve. Also, you don't want to bite off more than you can chew. It takes me a long time every year to weed whack my acreage. Flat land is much easier, as you can do it with a tractor or ride-on mower.
I find it interesting to see city folk move out here in the country. They rarely last more than 2 years, due to not being prepared for the extra challenges of country living.
I wanna live not in the country and not in the city but in between and there's these tiny homes that are 50k called Boxabl and wanna stack them and have people rent them out
Just as long as I'm comfortable and safe.
I'm happy.
You like fishin?
Be nice get that fishin pole and relax by that future lake of yours, cuhh.
A big house hidden away in the woods in the countryside with some land and a nice big front porch and a hot tub in the backyard

I want something modern designed where everything is thought out and practical and it looks nice and has a nice garden. I'd like to be close to a city Zürich probably or I could also just have a nice apartment in a city. I'd also like to live in Korea but I'd have to work out everything ^^.
This is as close as I can get. a house that looks like that with a few rooms (I can add more as needed) and enough space in the backyard for a few animals.
Outskirts of town, near a forest and a moutain, but close enough to conveniences.
I want a small patch of land where I can do things like woodcutting and let my dogs run about.
I want a very modern house, I like black and white, dark wood is also nice, but some small things to make it cozy like a fireplace.
That's all that comes to mind!
I'm on the market for a large tract of land where I can establish an animal sanctuary, a private golf course with race track wide cart path, horse tract plus stables and a modestly-sized house surrounded by sports club amenities.
horse track*
A wonderful mansion with robots that clean it, a lovely lake right nearby and a forest made entirely out of marijuana.
I want to build my own tiny house on a trailer. That way I can take my home with me wherever I go. Just hook it up to my (future) truck and pull it along.
I like what you described. And I am blessed to already have that kind of home lol.
Indeed, I am very happy to live here.
As long as it has room for at least a baby grand piano, a mancave/home bar and some office space then I'm well set
Out in the middle of the woods, somewhere with big trees. Or the central or northern coast of California, or the Oregon coast.
way up on a hill looking over a big city with lots of lights
A little of both close to a city but plenty of land
In a book / library / old Disney channel
Las Vegas... whore house
Mine is about what you’ve described
