There were cartoons that had it happen but they were pretty evenly matched. So, when it comes to raw strength, is the Thing even close to the strength of the Hulk?

Way back when there was an issue of the FF that had the Thing and the Hulk get into it. The Hulk easily won.

Depends on which form the hulk is in. Grey hulk good chance, Savage hulk really hard, smart hulk extremely hard. Immortal hulk likely impossible.
