Why aren't guys like Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle in WWE anymore?

Why aren't guys like Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle anymore with the look and intensity who would pass over from being an olympic or ncaa heavyweight champion as a legitimate superstar to become the next future and legend of the WWE like they did?

Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar are once in a generational talents who jumped into wrestling at a time when two once in a lifetime talents. Will there be any other talents like them again?

Kurt angle got old and ain't suitable for wrestling anymore, back in the past i never liked him, he was dumb and not considered one of the tough guys back in the attitude era!

Now about brock lesnar, well he's still wrestling in the wwe and he's a legendary wwe superstar and proved since he signed in the company that he's someome not easy to mess with, one of the strongest men in the roster till this day!

Very true. Kurt was fantastic as a wrestler you can't deny though he was tough in matches he went through to be in the shape he is for all the bumps and bruises he took but i understand what you mean by that. Back when kurt came in '99, a lot of people hated Kurt when he first showed up in the WWE, it's because he had a character that was reminiscent of those old school happy go lucky good guy American hero characters which was very outdated at the time.

The WWE fans were more interested in wrestlers like Stone Cold who has a bald head with a goatee, drinks beer and sticks his middle fingers up at people, beats up his boss Vince McMahon and does whatever he wants whenever he feels like it. But no doubt that Kurt is a legend and was hella good for what he did besides his gimmick and shit like that.

Brock most simply is a badass and a legend of the business also future hall of famer is definitely right but it's only a matter of time he'll give up on wrestling and retire on. So who is the young guys now to make an impact and deliver to know they are a draw to become a star in this era now?

My friend since i was a 4 year old boy, i used to watch the wwf and that was back in 1989, where was kurt angle back then 🤣🤣

He's strong and a real olympic champ but i have never liked him, i agree with you that the role he was given in the wwe was lame but his matches weren't easy, he played rough but it's a personal taste snd i haven't liked him, don't forget this match back when he challenged someone to pin him from the audience and that college boy went out and humiliated him and was about to pin him down for real, kurt angle never took his chances again after this incident 😂

A lot of people wore outfits like kurt angle and were a lot older than him in the business and i loved them such as lex luger, the British bulldog and many others...

Now when brock lesnar retires, i won't be able to tell you who's next because these kids aren't tough enough these days and wwe have changed a lot, it doesn't look at all like it used to be in the past, the wrestlers are in constant change, some come and some leaves...

Some were fired such as braun strowman... etc

I believe that cesaro must be given a chance to prove that he's on the top superstars currently and there is roman reigns, even though i don't like him...

I can't say drew mcintyre or bobby lashley because these guys aren't new at all...

I can'r find anyone who's new and worthy to be called a real star or champion...

You're right and you're truly right 100%. That's what i always say that these young guys today lack of putting in work and ain't tough enough like the old school was since it's a different era now. You know man a lot had changed since '89 and the 90s even the early '00s that superstars then were unique guys and once in a lifetime performers.

After Brock Lesnar retires, that'll be it for WWE cause he's really the only reason i tune in to watch WWE and everything else, i cared less of. It's not that superstars now go through constant changes but they don't have that it factor that are or could be a potential future star in the business as you said as i agreed so much that these young cats ain't tough enough or legit to be a star of the business these days.

That's right, also you can make a social experiment about it...
For example: ask any person from around the world, elders, middle aged people and kids about hulk hogan or the undertaker or ric flair... etc you will notice that the majority knows them, but now let's say we want to ask the same people about tyler breeze, they will be like who the hell is he 😂😂

Because you can't make money. Even in its prime, wrestling wasn't the best paying gig. All of the money was in endorsements, acting, etc. That's why Hogan made so much cash. But almost every other wrestler made jack. So guys like the Rock, John Cena, Bautista, etc. went Hollywood.

Why take all that punishment if you can't make any money? And Vince McMahon gobbles up every cent.

Cost vs. Profit I think. I read that Brock is like the 2nd highest paid wrestler of all time. But I bet if you asked most people he doesn't even Crack the top 10 most popular wrestlers of all time.

Then you have to throw in the Vince McMahon factor. It's well documented how Vince wants to control the WWE. He's going to cut down any wrestler that he feels overshadows the company.

Lesnar, is in wwe, and he just recently lost the title to lashley. he's going to be in the elimination chamber match this weekend, we'll see if he gets it back

I mean nowadays will there be guys like them in this generation now with the talent and look that make you go ''hmm, this kid will be the face of this business". Brock and Kurt are older now and Brock will go for only a 2 years left probably and Kurt is retired and has a broken body of all the years and abuse he took on his body.

They’re always looking for new guys but it doesn’t seem to be working Roman reigns is the best out there at this time but he’s got a real laid-back gimmick

Right , Roman is good at what he does but my favorite of Roman really was back in 2014 when he was a silent badass and would've been took more seriously back then if they booked him in this character he has now or differently. Roman is a star in his own right but not an all out big big draw and attraction in the caliber of Stone Cold or The Rock not even Brock Lesnar in my opinion.

As for looking for new guys, it's not working simply because guys like Brock and Kurt are once in a lifetime performers and won't seen anyone like them again as for the work they laid for years and popularity. I doubt guys these days i can take seriously to be known as a certified star and next legend and future hall of famer of the wwe to carry the company because WWE is going so down and it's terrible.

They’re not very motivating I guess you can work with Drew McIntyre but they build him up then they kind of tear him down I think the story writers are not on their a game
