Do you answer questions you can't answer?

For example, I'm an only child so if I see a question about a brother or sister doing something, I usually just answer it in the pov of if I DID have one, instead of the actual question. I don't know if the QA will then choose me as MHO but, I figure I would still put my two cents in anyway, and just figure if they don't choose me as MHO, it's a biased one

I can answer questions if they are realistic and honest

If there's a difficult question that requires facts like an engineering or astronomy question and it's out of my scope of knowledge, of course I'm not going to answer, unless I do research on the subject and am able to give an appropriate response. However, when it comes to matters of religion, politics, philosophy or relationships, I'm happy to provide my own opinion.

Yes. Sometimes some answers don’t matter if it doesn’t have any experience with it.
Some people on here ask questions that require peoples actual experience and solutions.
For example, I’ve had an asker on here ask if anyone here who is adopted, has abandonment issues. It would be kinda dumb to respond as if you were adopted.

You could then write it as if you were adopted, how you would feel about it. Just make sure you let them know you're not actually adopted

That still isn’t right. I think even if you want to be helpful, it wouldn’t be helpful to them because they are solely seeking answers from those who have actually had that experience.

But it might also help if they don't, with how you might feel about the situation. I don't have any experience talking to god but I can certainly tell you how I'd feel about it if I ever did, right?
