Upon gaining more knowledge of what happened completely, I admit I was wrong about what I said about Ryan Coogler. Bank of America did the screw up not the Ryan Coogler.

A hoodie (still winter), hat, mask (covid), and sun glasses.
He's famous as well. Celebrities wear that type of attire all the time to not draw attention to themselves.
Even everyday people wear that type of attire in covid times.
He gave them his ID, bank ID, and pin number. & she said that she didn't even look at the name?

It's normal to want to be discreet about the large amount of money you have and are taking out. I've written small notes (not at banks though since i hate going inside) before if i either didn't want people around to hear or if I didn't want them to forget.

He's not "playing victim".
I don't see where it said "count the money discreetly" it said to "be discreet with the money". Even if it did say that, that's a reasonable request when it comes to taking out large sums of money.
I was always taught to be humble and discreet with any type of money I had. You don't want to draw any attention to yourself.
I can definitely understand someone being upset for being taking as a criminal when they've provided all of their information.
