1980 Scout.

@humanearth Great MyTake. My Scout had the solid front axle with warn locking hubs. It had a 304 V8 and 4 speed manual transmission and 3.02 rear end. It actually got pretty decent gas mileage. Eventually I got a dual exhaust and removed the catalytic converter. The1978 and earlier Scout came stock with this set up and it was an easy bolt on upgrade. The body rotted pretty bad and finally I had to sell it.

Mine was not pretty, but frame and most of the body was solid.
