What makes you press on a random person's snap?

Cause I used to always post memes on snapchat but not that many people look at my snap but as soon as I post a post that involves my personal beef, people are on that shit like gum on hair, mostly girls, why? Then people hmu out of nowhere sending me emojis and shit, where are these people when I post my high quality memes lol

Literally hundreds of people I didn't even know I had added, is there a reason to it, maybe it's the fact that there's a caption and they can kinda see it before clicking?
