Do you agree that when a guy on the Internet says he loves you, he doesn't mean it?

Trending & News I disagree. I know that in most cases, this doesn't work. But in some rare cases, it can. Me and my current girlfriend met online. We connected instantly. We felt really comfortable with each other. We used to talk for hours everyday. We started trusting each other, became friends and started liking each other. Then we started dating online and fell in love in 3 months. We never got bored of each other even if it was only texting, voice calls and video calls. We didn't meet each other until after 1 year of being together. And even when we met, our feelings didn't change. Now, after 2 years in our relationship, we are living together. And we are still the same as we were when dating online. Now we talk face to face instead of video calls but it's just as comfortable but better. But I know, it's very rare to meet someone like this and maintain the relationship successfully. There were ups and downs and we hated the distance between us so many times. But the love we felt for each other was as real as it is now living together!
I strongly disagree
My admit there are definitely lawyers but not everyone on the Internet is a liar and you can love someone who you've met on the internet and who you've mostly talked to on the internet that's not impossible it's very doable it's happened before there have been successful marriages that started out online there's actually been quite a few of them I can't think of any examples but I know they've existed and I've even read about one because it was pretty heartwarming
This is much more complex. He may have been infatuated with the persona you projected yourself to be. I wouldn't believe anyone who said they loved me without even meeting me. You should spend time with them IRL, for you to fall in love with them. Technically, the guy was not really in love with you, so yes, it was daft of you to have believed him.
OR
He may have bluffed to get nudes from you. Some people do that.
Don't beat yourself up. You were emotionally attached to him. Your judgment was clouded by your emotions. Take this as a lesson and don't fall for this again.
Probably not. You can't 100% trust people you never met.

I agree, and it is the same when a woman says it when you haven't met IRL yet. I have had multiple say that to me over the years before even meeting them IRL. It just makes me think they aren't mature enough or realistic enough for a relationship.
Hard to say. I have never told anyone online that before.
Are there really people who fall in love with strangers online? 😹😹😹😹
I've heard stories of it being true, but I would say they're in love with the image they created surrounding the person.
Hmmm, maybe. But only after knowing each other for a long, long time.
wow you're completely wrong on that one. I've been in love with the same person for 4 and a half years now and a lot of the time it was on the internet
I would agree with that!!!
no he doesn't mean it how can he
Agree
