Why does scratching an itch feel so good?

I'm currently in the itching/healing stage of getting a tattoo. I can't scratch it and it's driving me crazyyy!!

Which itch and where 🤔. I mean like a crawling hair itch or “got to have me some of ganache chocolate raspberry 3 layered “🍰 “ itch, or finally found a nice 94 car JAG etc itch, scratched❓

  Well, I do not bite my nails, keep dirt out from around cuticles, have all my 🦷, floss them, and by Listerine in bulk. I’m not sure of the resume requirements, however, I will be looking for job posting 🙃

it gives a nice sensation for 2 seconds but scratching actually makes it worse. learned this the hard way through skin allergy-
