I'm getting better though. I've counted 3 occasions where I've been flawless.

Having worked fast food in high school and college I remember the little annoyances when people ordered through the drive through. That was one. Them staring forever like a monkey doing a math problem long enough that cars behind them started honking and then asking for something that wasn't even on the menu. And finally yelling into the microphone because the assumed you couldn't hear them 🤣.
It's funny how when you get older you remember how pitiful the pay was but you have an odd fondness for those days.
Eh, I'm not gonna try not to, I think the random noises serve a purpose. Have you ever noticed how when you think quietly they constantly bug you repeating hello? Or van I take your order? It's like the noises let them know you are figuring it out and coming ates what's going on.
Nope. I was just at a drive through earlier, i have a friend that works it and he unfortunately has the pleasure of constantly hearing me saying "uh" on the intercom lmao
I never actually thought about it until now, we do say that a lot especially in drive-throughs 😂

No... ah... even when I know... ah... exactly what I want... ah... yeah thanks that's all...
Oh sorry need a coke with that
I just straight out order with no um's or no ah's. But this is because I already know what I want before I even get there. And usually I am so hungry by the time I get there, I don't have time for ah's and um's, I just quickly order and go!
I don't go through a drive-through on anything. I hate them. I rather stop and walk inside
I've found the drive through is faster. I can remember one place I noticed the drive through customers were being served at a faster rate than the in store customers. I made this observation to another customer who was also waiting to be served. I said to her I was going to get my car and drive round to see if I got served before her. I did just that and I did. As I was recieving my order, she was still waiting on the line in store to be served. She gave me a mirthful but angry look.
If I go inside, it forces me to slow down and not rush all the time.
Besides my ass is fat enough. It pays to walk in for that greasy spoon
Um not sure, uh maybe I will try next time
Do you attend Toastmasters?
I mean uh, maybe.
