I keep a 44 mag in the truck for the purpose of dispatching wounded wildlife on the roadside. In five years of living in the mountains I’ve only had to put one deer down so it’s not very common. I keep the bullets separate from the gun. Just the noise a 44 makes will make most wish they never pulled the trigger and most can’t hold onto the gun.

If my life ever reaches the point where I need to start solving problems with weapons, and one weapon isn't enough, I seriously doubt that more will make it better. More ammo, maybe, but not more weapons.
