According to the progress of life and human beings I honestly do not wonder the future. I dunno as the time passes , I think the world becomes worse place every second passes. But I really wonder how our ancestors were and their lives , mindsets and so on shortly I am really keen on what the life was like in the past. Olds are better.

YES. Because if you can predict something, you can control it. Even if it is inevitable, you at least know.

It depends upon the kind of power I have after seeing the future. If I can alter the future then it could be useful, but if I am just seeing the inevitable future, then it's just a form of torture.

That’s definitely a two-sided sword. The future changes all the time, so nothing you see would be certain. However if used right it could be very helpful, so yes.
