So I had a dream about someone I know of in waking life but I never met them in person. I didn’t have an attraction towards them and I barely knew them. I just know their name, what they look like and what they do as a profession. So basically this person in my dream wrote me and said “I will look for you even if it takes forever.” What are thoughts on what you think it means?

So later a few days ago I saw a live video they posted about 9 months ago and they were talks about Instagram at first then they asked “How come you never find the people that you’re look for? You’re sitting here looking to find them, has that ever happened to y’all?” So that’s what they said. I thought it was kind of similar to my dream. What do you think?

That sounds like unrequited love. Perhaps that dream character had feelings for you but never mustered up the courage to confess their feelings to you. Now they feel regret but they’re determined to find you and let you know how they really feel about you.


Unless you’re having a clairvoyant dream—which would be psychic, your dream is a window to your subconscious thoughts and feelings. So, everything is symbolic for something.

You’re welcome. And also I never actually met them in person as I stated before. I only know of them from social media. I never even had a conversation with them.

But I also saw a video they posted on YouTube and they said they were always searching for something but didn’t know what it was. Then in another video she asked a question and said “how come you can never find the people you’re looking for? You’re sitting here looking to find them?”. I don't know but this sounds similar to my dream.
