if you're in a car with left-hand drive and that's the side the sun is on - yes.
if you make it a habit of driving with the window down, you're also apt to suffer hearing loss on that side.

we get it on the right here in the uk. but yes i understand what your going with this, I put the other over to the window when it's sunny. it helps a lot...
