Would you want to live forever?

Hell no! I mean, honestly, I was supposed to die at 24. I'm like The Simpsons, still here long after I probably shouldn't have been. Of course, ever since middle school, I always figured I'd only have one of two outcomes: Either die early and finally be rid of the pain and misery (non-suicide death). Or live to be some ridiculous age just because the universe hates me that much and wants to prolong my suffering. Almost everyone in my family lived to really old age, despite being extremely unhealthy.

My grandmother was Dutch-American and grew up in the South and if you know the South, you know how extremely unhealthy their diets are, especially in the early and mid 20th century. And my b*tch mother was a heavy drinker and borderline alcoholic, and also raised us on junk food and McDonalds (being an awful mother and all) and is still alive and healthy today at 62 despite never doing exercise a day in her life. She's not even that fat, either. Overweight, but not obese. She doesn't even look 62, she looks 40-45. How is that even possible, despite how unhealthy they all are?

I inherited all their sh*t genetics as well, with NONE of the positives, like the Dutch height my grandmother should've given me. I'm short, I had Precocious Puberty, and I have Hypothyroidism, which is also why I gain weight and body fat effortlessly and it's impossible to lose it (without surgery, which I'm going to be doing soon). Also ugly, too. And have a small dick. I literally have ALL of the worst possible human genetics and NONE of the positives, without being legitimately disfigured.

So yeah, I shouldn't even have been still alive after 24. My ex-fiancée died, yet somehow I did not. So I definitely don't want to live forever. But given my cosmic irony, I'll probably live longer than my dear grandmother, and she died in 2010 at the age of 90.

No. What happens to you in 9 billion years when the sun explodes? Or when all the stars burn out and the universe is empty? Let alone everyone you'd ever know would die over and over.

I just want to live a full life. Doesn't have to be forever. I'll be blessed to make it to 90-95. Old, gray, and happy.

I don't want to live forever. The only problem is I don't want to die - that is the unknown and scares me.

No. Death is a gift.  It helps us to appreciate our time on earth knowing it doesn't last forever
