Are there any online dating sites that are actually good - not full of chumps looking for cheap dates & sluts willing to sleep with anyone?

I've tried dating sites on & off for years. Always never more than a day or two because I get tired of expectations people have for cheap easy hooks up... and the most annoying thing is in my "profile" and pictures there's NOTHING to imply I'd be interested in such.

Well I used, Match, Enharmony, Tinder and Zoosk. I tried Bumble and Lots of Fish for like a day and never subscribed.

I was on them for like 4 months following my divorce. I was pretty determined to meet some one and I went on something like 16 dates with 14 different women in a matter of 4 months. Toward the end I started getting really good at filtering through the women in short order and coming up with solid prospects.

I had most my success on Match. com. They say that site is best for the 35 to 55 crowd. I am 45 it proved to be true. It got to the point that I got so good at Match I could literally like 3 or 4 different women on a Monday and by Wednesday have a date set for the weekend. But takes effort and lot of time and commitment, with trail and error to get good at it. You have to weed through all the people and really double down on the ones you think are most desirable to you. Its not just about their looks you have to read their profiles and figure who will be waste of time and who won't.

Tinder truly is just a hook up site and even thought I never just hooked up with any one I meet online Tinder it was not for me. Lots of people wasting your time on Tinder... so I burned through most those loser pretty quick. Thing about Tinder is they they will kick you off their website with out warning, no appeal or recourse they will tell you that your gone and not welcome back. I think there are people who make sport out of getting people kicked off of Tinder. Best I can tell is that I was talking to this women, who exchanged 5 or 6 messages with me over the course of week, so I told her,

"It seems like this is going now where, your not offering a good chat, and it takes you days to response so it seems like we are wasting each others time. I appreciate the initial interest, but I don't think its not going to work, but thanks."

That was literally the last message I sent on Tinder and the next day I was booted off the site and to this day I don't know why.

Zoosk was joke to me, just a lot of the same people you already matched with on Match or Tinder... it was more entertaining but there were so many scammers and fake people on Zoosk it was terrible.

eHarmony is very slow moving. They use their algorithm so you can not just connect with people randomly. I never put much stock into their algorithm, and I only got three dates from Harmony. One day on a whim I logged in and saw a women I was watching for some time on the site that had not been on in the last 45 days. I had my settings set to have who ever was last active filtered to the top of the list and I was waiting on her to show some activity on the site before trying to message her... and on this day she was at the top of my list as being active on the site at that very moment. I sent her a message, she replied immediately and we went on date that weekend.

Weeks later she told me that she was so feed up with the dating sites that she was logging in to eHarmony on that day trying to figure out how to cancel her subscription... she saw my message and appreciated that it actually referenced several things that she intentionally hide in profile, so she took the time to reply. Seven months later we are still together and going strong. She's an amazing women and I really like her, and we have a lot of fun together and see other every weekend or every other weekend. Our first two dates were amazing by the 3rd date she was spending the weekends at my place and it blossomed from there.

I would recommend Match, I would not recommend eHarmony to you... but apparently eHarmony worked for me... but there is an older crowd on eHarmony so I would not say its for everyone. I think I just got lucky on eHarmony, but at the same time I can not say it does not work.

I had success on match. com but that was some years ago. If I were single I would try it again. It’s a pay site so the members seemed to be a bit more serious. I have a friend who met his partner on Coffee Meets Bagel about five years ago.

No tgere are not but people are Stupid andFantastic SO they will always be Dating Sites….
Meetup. com groups are good resource for REAL people with real lives…

All dating sites are a waste of your time. Believe me , i have used and the people i met there really are a**holes and take you for granted.

Nope they’re all bad. The concept on paper is a good idea, but in the end human nature, shallowness and the lust for validation win out.

Why are you still using dating apps? Use a dating agencies or go to church.
