I'mma say joining the military and graduating basic training ( I HATED the first 2 weeks). 2nd will be leaving the military and willing to start all over again because it does take a lot of courage (perhaps stupidity) to leave your safety banket of nice stable pay, health insurance, & travel opportunities for the unknown 🤗

@Fuentes it was week 0 and week 1. I didn't care for the lack of sleep from inprocessing, getting your uniforms/duffle bags, peanut buttter shot, carrying them everywhere, trying to get my hair right, and chow. Those civilian lunch ladies are mean AF 😂
I lost quite a bit of weight and didn't eat their dry ass food because i was used to home cooked meals, lol. Chugging 2 glasses of water in 5 minutes always made me nauseous and I HATED drill.
Week 2 was when I started having fun. Found a friend to laugh at literally everything with & ended up loving drill (prob because weather started getting cooler)
I'm excited. Still debating on if I should go guard or reserves, but I'm excited to get out of my afsc. - +1 y
@Dinklex3 lol rubbing your butt and the stupid pills they make you force down your throat I rmbr that 30th that male you sick lol I was support too but got to go to Benning at 2-47 and we all had Infantry Drill Sgts. I use to hate going to the DFac cause all you heard was yelling and screaming about everything and always having to toe the line every damn minute over something so tiny hahahha & everything became pretty easy on day 3 for me lol
I avoided all sick calls and stayed to myself.
As for being supply it was easy and stupid for many reasons & once they discharged me i came back home said fuck this place and moved my fam to California, so if ur hometown is a shithole like mine was and u worried about work I would suggest as soon as u get back home to dip to a better state or city that can offer u everything u need to survive or u could go Guard or Reserve & still do whatever else is you wanna do. - +1 y
@Fuentes Ahh, our brother flight were battlefield airmen so we had the same MTIs. It was fun and interesting in general. I
Hometown has definitely turned shitty. I've been OCONUS the whole time. I'm going to take 60 days of terminal and am attempting skillbridge to help transition and settle in the lower 48. I don't plan to visit my hometown until I'm already settled in whatever state my skillbridge will be in.
Do you still keep in contact with everyone? Or did you just separate yourself from them once you separated? I'm just going to really miss the people and the culture, lol. - +1 y
That's a good way to keep a job transition so your not coming back to a shitty place with no jobs and nobody offering nothing cause your still of color, if the areas is like that. So you still get paid and build experience with a real job so your not sent out to be fucked by the world. I remember when I got home. I tried USPS and thought maybe having vet pref they would change their mind on the bs and nope they laughed at me and didn't give me no job. The fucked up thing was the HR guy was prior service haha but ofc that city hasn't changed for anything. That's when I said he'll naaah I'm out of here and packed my stuff out and and had my immediate family move to California and I got a job within two weeks and been good sense and now live in Southern Cali.
I do talk to at least 4 people I did not like my command, I hated being thrown in S4 like that lol most people start company level and that was a bitch all together. Another guy who also got out went back in cause he said jobs were bullshit lol
If I was to ever rejoin cause my re code is good to go I would go air guard security forces or load master. - +1 y
@Fuentes Oh wow. Yeah, I heard being prior service helps especially with entry level jobs, but guess not ๐
But then again there are a bunch of homeless vets for a reason.
Load master is the job everyone wants.
If you do ever chose air guard, i do NOT recommend security forces. Majority of them hate their job. Majority of our patients are security forces , especially high risk.
BUT!! I'm glad everything worked out for you and your family !

On which occasion? I just given them the slip sometimes if they piss me off, just harmless really, normally if they are annoying. I donโt do it all the time, I have a life to live still even living in a fish bowl.

I actually just turned invisible (second most impressive thing I have done) and did a proper push up.
You just couldn't see me.
I've never done anything remotely close to impressive, I'm not skilled or talented.
