Not that sparse, as my family offers 'old' stuff to me when I first moved out. Old recliner, took my bed, dresser and stuff with me.
I'm happy to have old worn stuff, vs. Nothing... and they had no reason to keep my bed and dresser, cause it was bought for me, so it would be unused had they kept it.
I think two truck loads of stuff was it, bed, dresser, I bought myself a TV and a cheap stand, a roku and that was it.
My first apartment had the bed, dresser, TV on the stand and a old worn recliner... that was it.
Not that sparse, but pretty sparse.
No, I didn't start out like that. I wasn't desperate for peace when I moved out, though. I would guess there's a correlation between a young person's desperation for peace and the lack of support from their family. If the family is toxic enough, one is willing to just take the bare necessities.
When I moved out of my parents' house, I had saved up like 50K and my parents brought me grocery shopping and paid for me to get all the food and supplies I needed.
Check the free section on craigslist for at least a bed frame i have scored some cool shit from people that are moving amd just dont want to move there stuff , there is a lot of trashy nasty shit on there too
I didn't even have that much. I had a suitcase full of clothes and a box of CD's.
My first place had minimal furniture. It was at least 6 months before it looked livable. I went to a lot of yard and estate sales.
No, the place was furnished where I moved in
I was in the military. Bunk beds, furnished room, and a roommate.
No, I was living in another place before I officially moved in
I didn't, but I can see why so many people do.
I didn’t, but i’m sure someone has.
Of course not even tv
Looks like my old apartment!😳😂
