What to do at night when I feel lonely/needy?

I typically like being alone, but at njght, jrs not uncommon for me to get lonely or feel needy. Most of my friends go to sleep early as I work 2nd shift and don’t get home until 1am and I do not have a partner. My animals help a lot, but my cat just passed and it’s my dog and I and I’m feeling especially lonely and needy with it just being the two of us and having no one to talk to at njght when it hits me the hardest.

Try doing an activity you like, such as reading a book or watching a movie, to take your mind off your loneliness. You could also try something that gets you moving, such as dancing to your favorite song or exercising. Movement can help release endorphins in your body that put you in a better mood.

Ask a guy out and make him into your snuggler. Some guys don’t like it. Some just won’t admit it.
