Depends on how much money I have. I'd avoid a 2nd hand prius. I'd invest in one of the 2019 Honda civics. Generally the younger the car the fewer the problems you have, unless you are buying a specific make and type that gives problems. I've made mistakes buying older cars and all they did was give problems. I've bought younger cars by make and the same. Honda civic is a tried and tested car. In my mind when buying a car I think about how often its going to be in a garage, I had a BMW and that's all it did, cost me a small fortune.

If you can afford either of the white civic LX’s the 2018-2019. Id personally go with one of those. Toyota and honda are both great brands. Toyota actually boasts the lowest cost of ownership in the industry. The reason I say those two is due to mileage. Even though both brands are well known to go into the multiple 100K odometers In a used car I would always go for a clean car fax, and as low of miles as possible. Im betting if those hondas are from an actual honda dealer they may even be certified pre-owned. Which is worth it.

The $13.000 car has a price tag too lower than the rest for it to be a comparison: you must know how much you want to pay for the car first.

Also, car mileage may be more or less important of a factor depending upon how many miles you will do per year, and how many years you wish to keep your new purchase with you.

I chose A only because it’s the most practical choice for someone trying to keep their payment on the lower side. The Camry I think is one of the years to avoid. All of the cars are nice and even though A has 80000 miles it will go at least another 100000 with regular oil changes. If the payment isn’t an issue then one of the others but not the Camry.

I picked the civic with 28 k miles. It's low mileage, very reliable, safe and economical. It's also roomy and comfortable. Honda and subaru hold their value if you decide to sell in a few years for whatever reason.

I'd get an older civic, like a 1999 Civic CX hatchback for like $1000 used. Then fix it up with another couple grand.
