I'm not a Marxist, but I do believe in equality among genders. Although, I do believe that the people should hold the power and that distribution of wealth is good, that you help those who are in need. Since I'm Swedish, I would probably be seen as a socialist, in the eyes of an uneducated American, even if they say they are educated.

That being said, people in the extreme of any side are always easily triggered when you challenge their beliefs.

I just shook my head and laughed when I read that you are a substitute teacher as well as a marxist. This is another example that proves a point I make a lot. The democrat party has taken over the public school systems in the USA. All school administrators think like you. They will not hire a Republican or conservative teacher. During the interview process, they only approve certified woke Marxists to be teachers. They are not concerned with teaching reading, math, science, etc.. No, their #1 focus is indoctrinating the little kids to be "future marxist revolutionaries". Marxism is effectively a religion, since communism isn't actually possible on a large scale. The idea that you have to motivate people to contribute with pay has been demonstrated to be false by things like Linux.

People are infact happy to contribute their time and expertise to projects that they believe in if they are in a position to do so, which is quite obviously much more possible in a communist system.

No element of the supernatural exists within Marxism, so no it is not a religion.

Now before you get your ignorant binary panties in bunches, I don't actually consider communism to be the ideal system but you have said is quite simply wrong.

The comparison wasn't that both were supernatural, it was that both are impossible, it is a religion in the sense that just like god, communism can't exist, yet people believe in it anyway.

Communism requires both anarchy and a lack of currency and fair trade to exist, neither of which is possible on a large scale.

Linux is a poor example as well, it relies heavily on computer hardware commerce, and in the end user market, windows and osx sales. And despite being open, still requires funding to perpetuate, and does a poor job at the primary reasons most people own computers (gaming, content creation, and work).

Not everything that needs doing is enjoyable, and without currency you are stuck bartering and doing far more labor to produce everything everyone you barter with wants, it's unrealistic with modern production.

The core concept of Marxism is that the shared ownership of the means of production is necessary for the good of mankind because of the damaging and unsustainable nature of capitalism.

Linux isn't a poor example you are just retarded, but if you don't like it then substitute it for this site if you like, people here give their time to help others without a financial reward or motivation for doing so.

We are fast approaching a potential reality where all or at least the vast majority of human labour is worthless due to the development of machines and AI etc, perhaps within this context you will be capable of grasping the point?

You cannot produce most of the stuff we produce without paying people money, the added labor from bartering would kill everyone from overworking.

Linux is definitely a poor example, as is this site, anything technology based is.

If you got rid of money, the use of AI would be gone with it, as would computer production, internet, electricity in your homes, etc. technologies are too expensive to produce (and yes, expenses exist without money, time is an expense).

Also, even keeping money and AI, it can't steal every job, and most jobs that AIs do still require human interference.
