I would be 56. Yikes. My youngest child will have graduated from high school the previous June. My oldest will have two children and be married. My next oldest will be married and will be an officer in the Army. #3 will be finishing vet school. I'll likely still be doing my job as an executive assistant.

What do I most want by then? I want to be driving a Camaro again. I miss that.

As for the world? Either we'll be on the road to address climate change and water shortages or we'll be close to the end. Electric cars will be the norm not the exception. Amazon will have taken over running elections in the United States and Elon Musk and Space-X will have replaced NASA as the U. S. space agency. And GaG will finally listen to the mods!

I learned a while ago to stop making plans for the future. That way, I can never be disappointed with reality when that day comes.

I don't want to time travel eight years into the future. Who knows how much more depressing my life will be. One thing i can assure you, though. I still won't have a woman in 2030. Unless I somehow can afford the $200,000 for leg lengthening surgery and actually choose to go through with it to gain the 3.5 inches/9 centimeters to make such a thing possible. Even still, I wouldn't do that just for a woman.

But yeah, I don't want to see my future. 26 year old me would already be extremely disappointed with present-day me and I'd want to kick my own 2022 ass.

Yes, I would like to know if my worst predictions became true. The world as we know it (with humans) might not exist by then. Another species will take our place or animals will be living by themselves.

If I'm still alive by then, I would like to be living in a decent country with polite, kind, smart and good looking people. With a steady job, my own house, my car and a group of true friends.

@letuswaltzforthedead the future can be overwhelming and a little scary to be honest since you never know what can happen but like also exciting at the same time you know. I'm 24 and recently found a wonderful guy but we're taking it slow although that is the initial place I wanna be, you can't really plan the when or how always but I believe if you work toward a goal of several goals and strive you'll be where you wanna be eventually. My mistake when I was younger was not setting healthy boundaries for myself but I'm happy I've accomplished those.
