Personally I don't care if 2022 is almost ending and it's a modern world I'm still never proposing to a man, period.

A couple people here on this site and others keep saying ''It's already (the current year), we're not in the 1950's''' and that we can now do the proposing and everything.
I just think that ''no, just because it's the modern world doesn't mean I'm going to go against something personal to me''.

But that’s two different points of views. The question sounded like someone might change their own point of view if they traveled through time or something. lol I guess I was misinterpreting it.

True. It takes away what is suppose to be a special moment for me. If I were to propose, it would be begging for love and nagging him into something that never came from him. Most of us already want marriage and kids; no point in asking for what I already want. It's romantic when the guy brings up the topic himself and then proposes.

Exactly! I don't how other women are actually doing that but I don't agree with it. To each their own but a lot of things have changed recently
