Great Great Grandad forward little over 350 acres Farmers/Manufacturers... I worked like a dog as kid for many years and learned production end.
Workers lived on the farm, got paid, educated, etc. When I was 13 I rented my first unit after the yesteryear residence trend stopped.

I did not have a choice. Different mentality. From people who originally farmed just to feed and have a school to send kids too. That mentality still pervades the Family units.
