What's something you really regret in your life? Is it possible to do something about it?
I regret not spending more time with my dad before he passed away. Sadly, there's nothing I can do to change that.

Not helping a friend home when he was highly intoxicated. I figured he had done it a hundred times before, so this night wouldn't be any different but I had never seen him that drunk. He walked to his place okay, it was only 3 blocks from the bar but when he was walking up the stairs, he fell backwards. Luckily he was found by a neighbor but he is partially paralyzed in all four limbs and can only get around in a wheelchair. The guilt was overwhelming for years. He never blamed me but I let our friendship die because of the guilt I had. I also regret that.
I regret letting myself get so low that I thought suicide was a viable option.
The fact that I'm typing this means I got over it.
@SnowedIn I agree. Luckily, I've long since improved my marksmanship. π
Gallows humor aside, someone thought I was you earlier..
@SnowedIn What's the right way to be? β
@shiftingmonke awesome!!!
@midnightmoon05 thank you!
Breakup up with my best friend during high school. Although I donβt think I had much of a choice , she replaced me and started treating me bad for years before I made the decision.
I regret literally fighting a woman physically over a cheating man! Toxic situation and I broke my nose.
Nah, not really to be honest. Though I never went back to him and for her.. she is just a bitch.

Well my regret is similar to yours but instead of my dad. It was my mother and there's nothing I could do about it. I still get emotional when I think about it. I just wish I had done more with her unfortunately I have to live with it cause I can't do anything about that
Nope I'd give anything just to talk to her one last time
How does one itemize and prioritize such a thing. Girls, Career, Financial risks I didn't take but should have etc...
Used to be not helping a friend enough, but I recognize there was nothing I could do about it. But now, no regrets.
I regret most things in life I chose to do... but you can only move forward...
Just ended up wasting a lot of time doing things that were mostly not even choices I really wanted... I did a lot of things to keep others happy and not myself...
Yeah I don't anymore I am doing a lot better and progressing in life finally...
Live with no regrets. Learn from it, become better.
