I don't have much interesting to relate, but I've been enjoying spring here in the western Sierra Nevada foothills of California where we have a really nice view. We live on oak covered acreage on a west-facing slope in a rural area.
We had our 1/2 mile long driveway graded and regraveled after the rainy winter. It has been several years since we had that done and it is wonderful to drive on it again.
We did some maintenance to some stuff on the outside of the house.
Flowers, bushes and trees in the yard are blooming. Animals, particularly lizards, deer, quail, and humming birds are out.
We're in the process of weeding and mowing all the tall grass that grows up in the spring. We wait until after the winter and spring rains are done and the grass turns brown so that we only have to do it once a year. Anyway, we'll soon have our yard and property looking beautiful.
Our veggies doing nicely. Deciduous fruit trees are blossoming. We have oranges, lemons and grapefruit all year round.
Our first warm weather (in the 90s) was predicted for this week. So, this last Sunday, my wife and I slid the swamp cooler (do you know what those are?) into place and I got it up and running. We use it for about half the year. In the late fall, I drain it and we put it to bed until the next year.
My car had a couple minor problems, so today I drove 25 miles to the house of a guy I know who is a master Toyota mechanic. He works at a dealership but has a full shop at his home and does work there on his days off. He charges me $50 per hour.
He replaced on O2 sensor and recharged my AC. On my way home, I picked up a prescription for eye drops from Walgreens, stopped at a Mexican restaurant and ate half of a really good, wet burrito there. Took the rest to go. Got gas, picked up some pasties at a local shop, and stopped at the grocery store for a few things.
Once nearly home, I bumped into our mail delivery lady at our mailbox. We are friends so I talked to her for a minute and picked up the mail.
Once home, I brought everything in the house and put the food in the frig. I looked at the mail.
I called my car insurance company to make claim on my windshield that has been cracked for a while. Then I made an appointment for a glass company to come to my house this Friday to replace the windshield.
It was 92 degrees today, so I was grateful for the swamp cooler. It was very pleasant inside the house.
I fed our two cats. Then sat down to look at GAG, Facebook and check my emails.
I ate the other half of my burrito around 6:00.
My wife got home from work around 7:30.

I brought $25.00 in coins too work, because I'm getting tired of having to go to the Coinstar machine across town. The coins were starting to fall out of my piggy bank, so there must've been at least $70 in there. So I brought $25 in coins to work (100 of them were pennies)😂
$25 is the maximum amount we're allowed to deposit. I decided to chance that no one will pay me in quarters today, and some asshole did. 😂 Long story short, I ended up being stuck with extra quarters. Long story, I had to take $5 in quarters back home with me, and we now have $18 in quarters in the change bags between the two shifts😂
Crying over a break up 😔 so sleep is pretty shit for me too 😒🫂

I work during the week.
Friday, took my daughter to dinner then off she goes to daddy.
I was so tired, got home and went to bed from 9:30ish till 5:30 am lol.. I know my internal clock. I got up, did some work. back to bed around 8am till my hubby got up around 11am... I got up as well...
well... was a rainy Saturday... so we decided to go to a spa... we got there around 3pm... showered (all women), went into the wet sauna, went into the different temperature pool for fun, washed up.. met my hubby in the spa restaurant. We had some light soup... went into different herb rooms. He went to his massage. I napped... he came back, we had some fruity icy. Went into different heated herb spa rooms again... napped... I had so much sleep/naps... I didn't think I can sleep so much. by 1am... we washed up again, came home around 2am... slept till 8am...
So nice and refreshed/relax.
I hope more Americans learn to relax/pamper themselves a bit.
Today, I just finished preparing some of my work for next week. Now I am here just for a bit and go tidy up the house. My hubby will be back from his bike ride, we will go out to brunch.. then shop for suitcases for our summer trip.

I'm home relaxing. Sorry you're having a rough time. Work was annoying for me today, because I'm on a rather large job that's nearly completed, and a lot of the remaining few things that need to get done by the various trades are all in one area. So of course, everyone was basically trying to work in each other's work areas.

Have you tried CBD. it doesn't get you high like THC but it does help for sleep
Just got home from walking, local traveling and purchasing necessary stuff and food items. Now relaxing in the room. It's too hot outside right now.
