When was you last time cry 😭 and what is the reason?

The last time I cried really hard was when our kitty, Rosie, died in December 2019.
I rescued her moments from death when she was on the white line of a busy highway when cars approaching from a green light. She was so tiny that she was almost invisible.

My wife and I had only been married for a couple of months when I brought her home.

We cleaned Rosie up and took her to a vet to be spayed and get her shots. The vet said she was about 5 weeks old.

She was terrified at first, but soon became acclimated and decided that we were her mommy and daddy. We moved three times while we had he and kept her indoors to keep her safe. She turned into the best kitty ever. Over the years, we watched her grow and go through stages of behavior.

She always slept on our bed at the foot, in between us.

She was almost exactly 22 years old when she died. She had seemed happy and only quit eating a week before hand, but she still didn't seem to be in any pain or discomfort. I was sitting next to her on the sofa, keeping watch over her when she passed away peacefully.

I put her in a box with one of her blankets and a single red rose from our garden, and we buried her in our back yard.

I still miss that little girl. She had been a part of our lives.
