I like June the best. The weather is great, the days are long, the long cold winter is over and when the month is over there is still July and August to look forward to.
2.1K opinions shared on Other topic. October.
I wear heavy work boots all year regardless of the weather, but October is when my feet stop sweating so much because it cools off and I can wear my plaid shirts all the time and I like cool overcast or rainy weather.
When I was a kid I started reading the Lord of the rings, and when my mom, so I’ll be reading it she got excited and insisted on reading it to me. Well I was a big boy and I thought I could read the books on my own., but she was still my mom, and she insisted so I caved.
We lived in the country in the TV stations out. There were miles away. We had really poor reception, and there was nothing good on anyway.. so I would wait for my mom to come home from work. We would have dinner and then go sit in the living room, and I would listen to her do all the voices as she read those books to me.. it was October. The weather was cool, and windy and overcast, and sometimes rainy for almost a whole month that we shared as I listen to her read those books.
So to me, rainy and overcast and cool weather, I think has always reminded me of that wonderful bonding time that I had with my mom.518 Reply- +1 y
After I had joined the military, my mother asked me what I wanted, either for my birthday or for Christmas. I told her that for Christmas, and for my birthday for the next three years, if she could just read the hobbit and the lord of the rings on cassette, and then give all those to me when she was done, I would be more than happy.
So she did. I have 3090 minute cassettes of my mom, reading the hobbit and the lord of the rings.

These movies won more Oscars than any other in history.
They don’t follow the books exactly but they’re pretty close and they’re still pretty good.
If you want to watch them all back to back, I suggest a weekend that you do not have to work or feel guilty about not getting anything else done because all three extended version movies will take over 11 hours to watch but at the end I’m sure you will conclude that. It was well worth it. - +1 y
Yikes! 🤣🤣🤣 I don't have that kind of time or control of the TV. I'll add them to my watch list though.

Yeah, but you're a professor!

@TrueConfection
Well, when you are able to find the time you’ll be pleased with having watched the movies. They will leave a mark on your life.
In a good way. - +1 y
Ok, thank you! I'll let you know when I get to watch them. ☺

+1 yApril, May - They are the months when life is so peaceful and beautiful with all the flowers around, they put you in the mood of love.
Next favorite of mine is July - because all my life the best of my adventures were in July cause of holidays.
Next favorite month is August - because it’s still summer, but what makes August less happy is that Autumn is coming…

Have to agree with you - June.
In general, I am a spring/summer guy and as far as I am concerned the year ought begin on April 1 and end on August 31 and revert right back to April and start over. Weather and all.
Also, although Easter Sunday is my favorite holiday, and although my birthday is in August - and that gives April and August a soft spot in my heart - June has got it all.
Warm days - great beach weather on average. Long days that start with an early sunrise and end with a twilight that, in the state I grew up (Michigan) lingers until 10 at night.
The days are filled with chirping birds and - if you are lucky - the sounds of the beach. The nights are filled with fireflies and chirping crickets and a nice cool breeze.
Every now and then this will be all interrupted by an afternoon thunderstorm. Grant, those can be a problem, but frankly, I find the cooling rains and the flashes of lightning to be as enjoyable, in their way, as the brilliant blue sunny days.
Put it all together - and although I like the blossoms of Spring, overall summer - and June specifically - is hard to beat. Could not go without it.

+1 yJuly! Why? I was born in July, BBQ party birthdays every year, the weather is always nice and warm, and for the last 5 years i am always on 4 weeks vacation (last 2 weeks of July and first 2 weeks of August) and we usually travel overseas for at least a week. So July 😎🏝️

+1 yI love summer, but my favorite month is July. The weather is not quite hot in June. I can't love these two months because September comes after August.

+1 yI definitely like June since it’s my birth month, as well…looking forward to ending of the school year and suddenly…my allergies ended few days ago. I can now go out without having to worry about sneezing, itchy eyes…etc. I have been so happy the past few days being out and about…. smelling the beautiful flowers. Not too hot and not too cold.

In April, the trees start coming back to life with new green leaves and flowers start blooming. By May, everything is green and there are lots of flowers. Bees, butterflies, lizards, birds, and other animals are out.00 Reply1.4K opinions shared on Other topic. It would have to be October 🍁🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁 because that is when the 113° killer summer heat stops, pluse we don't get snow here, just some pleasent rainy days. 💧☔

I love the whole Christmas season, but otherwise July is my favorite. It's those "lazy summer days" 🌞20 Reply May because it starts getting hot and it’s my birthday month and November because there are maple leaves and Christmas lights everywhere.
