  They're also so fun and a spirit of youthful college vibes or endless summer good times, like forever enjoying 20s or 30s or just being 'young' and spirited ✌🏻✌🏻☮️ I'm no sports cars man, hatchbacks make me feel even when I'm 40 I'll feel 20 🙃👍

  Okay gotcha. Not exactly my cup of tea, I don’t think the mini cooper specifically is very safe, and I prefer sedans or maybe small SUVS, but if people like them good for for them.

Hatchback and SUV are the only vehicles I’d consider.

Although I’m not a huge fan of the current hatchbacks. Like the Kona, or the Versa. I lean more towards the SUVs I currently have a Chevy Trax SUV (that I wouldn’t recommend) and I’ve always wanted the Honda HRV (cross between the fit and the CRV I think) since my mom has one and it’s a good little care, just too low to the ground now that I’m used to the Trax. But I’m not a fan of the new 2023 model looks too bubbly lol and yes aesthetic plays a role in cars for me

  A Mini Cooper is one I would never get. But I like slightly bigger for the simple reason if I have big dogs lol. Can’t put 2 70+lbs dogs in a tiny Honda fit lol.

  My roommate had a Honda fit as her first car and she has German shepherd. Dogs turned off the radio with her nose many times due to minimal space. And her ears end up pinned when she sat up because she’s a tall pup lol. The HRV fits both dogs decently well as does my Chevy trax

  Fair enough Kori, all good. Enjoy the Honda or the SUV. Lol. I for one enjoy the smaller hatchbacks since I have no dogs lol 😆 and have no car currently lol. But someday I'd just buy something like a Mini or a Honda Fit or a Hatch of some kind. Nothing big or small. 😂

  For insurance purposes smaller is better lol, location too. Small town means less insurance. City equals higher insurance rates plus size of vehicle. I went from $250 a month to $470 for insurance because I went from dinky car to SUV and small town to big city 😅

I've got a mazda 3... it's not that small actually. I've carried two shopping carts worth of groceries in it. 36mpg average, routinely top 45mpg with lots of highway driving. SO much more convenient at the nursery when you're trying to load a lot of plants.
I'll drive her til the wheels fall off, then get more wheels, but I'll never own a non-hatchback again (well, and a commercial truck).

I prefer having a trunk because the trunk lid completely conceals whatever I have in the trunk.
Some hatchbacks reveal might reveal my possessions in the cargo compartment.

Can't really say, I drive a mid-engine 2 seater sports car. I like some, but I wouldn't trade my car for one.

No and yes. It's if it's a sporty hatch then yes but I'm pretty tall so no. More of a Sports Sedan guy, 4 doors with plenty of power!
