When growing vegetables such as tomatoes, zucchini and cucumber how big should the pots be to start out with?

Do I then transfer them to a bigger pot once they start growing more?

If you start from zero and are prerpared to transfer tuem from time to time you can start growing the seeds in toilet rolls. may sound weird but it works.

But what size in cm or inches.

Does it have to be Tiny pots for zucchini to start with. Would a 15cm pot work

I start really tiny. We grow them outside not in pots. We just start the plants in 2x3 vertical toilet paper rolls. That makes 6 plants.

Usually the pot has to be larger than the root structure. If you grow from seeds you can start out with a smaller pot and transplant it when it gets too big.

The bigger the pot the better, and tomatoes are a fruit.
