I put on puppet shows for my rescue kittens with stuffed animals and make up songs to sing them at night until they fall asleep. That's not some rookie stuff there. That only comes with age and experience right there

  They don't like each other, so I set up a baby gate and do half of it from one side and half of it from the other. That way they both can work behind the scenes AND be audience.
  
  I also did nine combat tours so I have zero interests in fitting the mandate society may have as to whether that makes me mature or not. Screw their mandate, it makes the rescue kittens happy. They should get a vote.

What does mature mean?
I'm operating as an adult and parent, living a stable law abiding life. I make sensible adult decisions and try not to mess people around.
Beyond that, I seriously question if anybody really grows up. Emotionally. Some, perhaps many, can't even claim the above. Or do, and then jump on the internet and be childish and dreadful to everybody.

Depends on the context. Can I engage in productive problem-solving and emotional control? Yes. Do I dance around the kitchen while I'm doing dishes? Also yes.
