First time smoking weed experience?

When I was new to public high school in 10th grade, the first three people who made friends with me were two cute hippie girls and a guy who had bushy hair and a full black beard and mustache. They were really nice people.

I had been curious about drugs since about 7th grade when they started having anti-drug assemblies to "educate" us on the dangers.

So, one day I asked my new friend if he knew where I could buy some weed. He introduced me to a guy who sold me a small piece of rolled up tin foil for $5. I thought it was weed and said it wasn't very much. He explained that it was blond Lebanese hash. It was moist and smelled really good.

I took it home and made a pipe out of some tin foil and a piece of a cardboard tube from a clothes hanger. Nobody was home, so I took it into our back bathroom, opened the window, and took two or three puffs or so.

It kicked in after a couple of minutes. Fuck me I got high!

I gathered up the pipe evidence and half crawled to my bedroom and fell asleep. When I woke up, I couldn't find the hash. I had a dread feeling that I had dropped it.

My parents were home by then. I went back to that bathroom and there was the rolled up piece of foil on the carpet under the sink. Whew.

Shortly after that, I smoked weed for the first time. There was a gathering at a local park one Saturday. We used call them "love ins" but they were just high school kids hanging out, playing music, skateboarding, playing frizbee, sitting in groups talking and passing the occasional joint.

I was sitting with a group and a joint came by a couple of times. I got pretty high. It felt pleasant. I got up and went to sit on the sloping grass hill by myself. I started laughing for no reason at all. I wasn't even thinking of anything funny but I felt really good. Sometimes newbies get the giggles. I've heard joints called giggle sticks.
