What was the last reason you looked at the world map?

I prefer, and look at Google Maps all the time. It's sort of a hobby of mine. I've found a TON of really beautiful and interesting places most people don't even know about, simply by looking at the map, area by area, feature by feature in detail. The last thing I used it for (just yesterday) was finding a remote mountainous area in the Yukon.

Usually when I'm bored, I open Google Earth and look at random locations. I've even found a couple of shipwrecks a few times. It makes me curious to know what kind of absurd things I will encounter while browsing the maps.

I'm the same way. It may be lame, but I can spend hours just searching around looking at random stuff sometimes. 😂 Maps in general are fascinating to me. Especially when they are so interactive.

Recently to measure length, i am sometimes obssessed with the length of russia! 110 degrees sphere, is

3,500 miles across 114 degrees in contrast to fat part of ball, 60 degrees 3,600 miles. In game a tank can go 3,600 miles across india to west iraq but not across russia! Dumb! And unfair advantages to russia,

Also helicopters flying east same speed, 1 from peterberg, 30 degrees east, sea to sea would reach sea even before the 1 from west iraq, starting 40 degrees east! Would reach sea or even Thailand.
