It's afternoon and someone asks you "What time is it?"

You look at the clock on the wall (see picture) ... what do you tell them?

one thirty PM

half past one

thirteen thirty

one thirty

thirty minutes before two

the big hand is on the one and the little hand is on the six

It's interesting that no one has yet caught the incorrect next-to-last option, which should read "the LITTLE hand is on the one and the BIG hand is on the six"

In British English, it's half one or arf one if you've got an accent.
Half past one also gets shortened to
ha pas one in speech just to confuse English learners.
