Is it weird if a odd if a teacher calls you “baby/babygirl” or is he just being extra friendly?

He only does it to me and he always says it so loud when he sees me and it’s so embarrassing

It feels so weird but he’s like one of those teachers that are friends with the students blah blah so I don't know if it’s just in my head and it’s just a weird nickname

No that is extremely weird and extremely inappropriate. Darling or hun or some word of that nature would be more appropriate and something I wouldn’t take offence to. However those words you’re mentioning are more for romantic couples and not something a male teacher should be calling his students, and it’s even weirder if he’s just doing it to you.

I’m a teacher. You need to report him immediately before something worse happens. This is never usual, friendly, or okay. Do not give him warning and do not just let it go. If the person you report it to does nothing, go above them. Also, tell your parents.

Also, don’t let anyone tell you that you led him on or did anything wrong. He is in a position of power and abusing it.

One of my other classes is right across from his. He and that other teacher are friends bc they both teach under the medical program at my school so he goes there a lot. When he sees that im there he’ll try to hug me and proceed with the weird name calling stated above. There’s also the fact that sometimes in class we have to do hands on things and practice skills on other students and he’ll often use me as a demonstration which often involves a lot of touching or being in my personal space.
