Many times. I have a really sad life. Started when my best friend died when we were only 7. Then my aunt died who was more like a sister to me because we were so close in age at the young age of 24. I was 17 when she died suddenly. Then another best friend from college died when I was 24. I got my heart broken and stomped on when I was 22 and it took 8 years to recover from that heartache. So I've had nothing but tragedy strike my life. So I've had more broken days than happy days.

Yes. The first time my heart was broken I felt broken. I felt like I lost my future. The things that I used to enjoy started to hurt. I nearly lost my will to live. The only thing that kept me going is the hope that I held onto that she would come back to me. It took me a couple years to find the strength to let go and move on.

Just before I made the decision to divorce each of my ex wives. Hitting bottom can empower a decisiveness…Too bad that I let each relationship get that bad. Their actions were not my fault, I know, but I allowed things to go too far…or in other words, I kept giving them rope. They could have stopped at any time. Their choice.

A couple times. Once when I broke up with someone I was really close to. It felt I would never have that kind of happiness again. Also to a lesser extent, a career change (felt stuck in a dead end job).
