Maybe not impressed, but I definitely like it. Makes me more comfortable to be around them since they "break gender norms" so they're less likely to have a strict aggressive rules of what a man or woman has to be. I hate people with rules like that, it's exhausting to be around them for very long.

Impressed is maybe the wrong word. I feel grateful, surprised, and relieved.

It's like realizing that whoever you're talking to understands the topic you're talking about.

It's more I have an expectation that opposite gender folks are low because of my experience with them, and when I meet someone who is knowledgeable and shows it, it's a relief and a beautiful surprise.

Usually the type of women who are super into masculine hobbies are going to be pretty arrogant and competitive about it. There's not much to admire about that 🤷

However, if women take a sincere effort into understanding a different perspective? Then I am impressed.

Nope. It just shows that maybe they are interested enough to learn. I guess I find it a bit intriguing. Glad to know they put in some effort. And I hope they enjoy the effort I put in too.
