I stand up, I wipe, I pull `em up (or drop it, if I'm wearing a skirt), I flush, I wash my hands, dry them, shut out the light and leave.
If I have to pee, I take a whiz, pull `em up (or drop it), flush, wash my hands, dry them, shut out the light and leave.
Shitting, the seat goes down, peeing, the seat goes up.
Whoever else wants to use the toilet is in control of the seat. If you're a girl, or anyone that needs to shit and you don't wanna make a big splash, I suggest you make sure the seat is down, just like I do. Mommy and daddy don't put the seat down for me.
First of all I NEVER pee standing up unless I have to do it at a dirty public place. So I need the seat down anyway.
All my life I have left it lid up.
Lately, since we have a cat at home for the past couple of years I have started leaving the lid down just in case the cat gets into the washroom and jumps in the toilet. Normally we leave the door closed 99% of the time.
Oh. Reading your detail comment, yes, when I flush, if there is a lid, I put it down and then flush because the type of invisible stuff that splashes. out when you flush is insane.
Why not Pee standing up being a guy
@LunarEclipse433
Whether you see or not, splashes go everywhere. I find it desprespectful to anyone else who is going to use the toilet after that. I curse more to the mothers of those guys who pee standing up and keep the seat down.
Splashes also come on your own clothes. As it is, thats dirty, but we are nor allowed to pray in that clothing after that.
Also, we are required to clean up with water (religious reason). Standing up, using a vessel or using a bidet or a bidet shower is impossible.
/I cannot curse more.../
@AviatorTom Thank you for the MHO. Your GAG name made me look at your profile. More so because you. are exactly my age. Pretty impressive. I wish I could retire now. I am in Tech but tired of the same old same old where it seems ithese are the times for much younger people to carry forward now.
Sorry to digress from the main topic of toilet etiquettes 🤣🤣🤣
i usually leave it how i found it, if it's not my home.
if it's my own toilet, i put the seat down. surprisingly so does my partner. we don't leave the seat up for germs to be floating around the air lol
seat down and lid down
Toilet Seat Down, Lid Up! The bathroom door is always closed. Unless I am using the restroom... and then I usually leave the door open so I can continue my conversation (I'm not a modest person).
Thanks for the MHO!

I wish I could reply with ''lid down, seat up''.
But this time you trapped me :)
During operation I prefer lid up and
for #1 seat up
for #2 seat down
Once I leave the premises I put both down, so that the next user can struggle with
his/her/its/whatever
own decisions.
I leave both down. Living with women my entire life, you learn real quick, the seat and lid should be down. I kind of prefer it that way anyway.
Woods, always! 💀
I really prefer to pee outside although I rarely get to. So seat down it is for me.
I put the seat down fast because I don't want dirty toilet water splashing up all over me.
I live with my sister, so toilet seat and lid down.
Toilets are like trees or bushes as long as I pee on, at or near it im good 👍
I voted b. After thinking about it for a second, however, my answer is a to avoid splatter during the flush.
I have cats and a dog so we have to put the seat and lid down
If Not Down, I would Frown. lolxxoo
I always close it.
Option A. I have a curious cat 😂
