Do you decorate the house for Halloween?

People around here don't put much effort in unless they're having a kids party. But I know in other places it's a big thing.

So do you decorate house or the garden?

Most years we do. Normally we put up big inflatables. Hang orange, black, and red lights, as well as hanging ghosts and bats in our trees. And we usually have 6 carved pumpkins lighting up our driveway and walkway to the front door.

This year, I think that we'll be skipping all of the decorations except for the pumpkins. But we hand out full size candy bars to anyone child or adult that comes to our door!

When my kids were younger, we decorated the house for Halloween... carved pumpkins on the porch, ghosts in the windows, orange lights everywhere, and sometimes somethign eerie hanging from the tree.

I don’t, but my younger daughter (24) sure does… she puts up a Halloween tree 🙄 this year she did her whole bathroom Halloween, shower curtain, rugs, toilet seat cover, the works 🙄🤣

That's adorable. Maybe I should put up a transparent shower curtain with a mannequin of a knife-wielding psycho next to it. And get some of that gag soap that makes it look like you're bleeding.

They shouldn't put any effort in, we should not be celebrating Halloween in the UK. And it is ridiculous the way it is going, it is almost like a second Christmas with trees and wreaths. Some weirdos even decorate their pets.
