Would it be a dumb idea to have a dance battle?

My friend and I talked about having one at a Christmas party for sh! ts and giggles.

A dance battle at a Christmas party? Could be legendary bro! But yeah, you gotta do it right or it might just be lame haha. Here's what I'd do:

- Pick a good song with a sick beat people can really get down to. Something hype like Michael Jackson or Kanye maybe.

- Scope out the floor space first - you don't want too many other people crowded around watching you guys go at it. Need room to really show off the moves.

- Get everyone cheering you on and into it from the start. Help em get pumped to see you and your boy kill it out there.

- Keep it lighthearted - battle each other but don't make it too serious. Still want people having fun watching.

- Have some signature dance moves ready to bust out when you're really trying to one up each other. But also be ready to freestyle if needed.

- Declare a winner at the end. Get everyone yelling and hype after for whoever takes it. Bragging rights for the rest of the night!

As long as you guys are comfortable dancing in front of people and can actually move, I say go for it man. Could be the highlight of the party! Just make sure to keep the energy high.
