How often do you have nightmares?

I have them very rarely, but sometimes they feel so scary, you’ve got no choice but to wake up.

I don't have nightmares really too bad ever. Having said that I don't do this much anymore but I used to have my name on this list for sleep calls for people having nightmares. This one chick had nightmares almost every night for 5 months it seemed. So for like 5 months she would call me on video and I would make sure I tried to be available for the most part and if I wasn't I would tell the people I was with her I'm going to put this on mute on my end for the most part and turn my camera off. But most of the time I would talk to her for a little bit and she would get comfortable and fall asleep finally on video most of the time. If I seen her start to have a nightmare because you can visibly see it coming on pretty quickly, I would either say her name and if that didn't wake her hang up and call back real quick because she left her ringer on loudy. I would do that every night until it was like an hour after her last nightmare before I would hang up and then try to go to sleep and sometimes it was really really early in the morning right before I had to go to work.

Almost every day, as soon as I wake up. Oh, You meant dreams? Not really. I used to have some in my childhood, but I've found the perfect way of keeping them at bay and the worst it gets these days is "action dreams" (like in "action movies"), so even if all hell breaks loose, I don't get hurt, I'm just having some thrilling time.

Barely... ever now? Most of my dreams are just high amounts of weird. While my nightmares were just fears. And since i've faced those fears, they don't come up as much... back to weird dreams... good god.

I rarely have nightmares. Sometimes I have sleep paralysis and see people staring at me but that doesn’t happen too often either.

Every other night maybe? I don't really keep track of it anymore, but I did as a teenager when I noticed it was frequent.

I know it sounds serious or dramatic, but it really is not the case. It doesn't negatively impact my mental health or anything like that.

They are just my regular dreams. It's rare for them not to be. But also due to that they really don't bother me, the only reason they scare you is because they are rare to you. If common you don't even notice them happen so shrugs.

A couple times a year maybe. I used to have crazy dreams and nightmares all the time as a kid. I started smoking weed pretty much everyday when I was 16 and that made it go away for the most part. I had some really crazy ones a couple years ago. I woke up and wrote down the story.

In fact, I rarely ever even dream, and God knows I'm thankful for that most of the time, but sometimes I wish I could relive a moment or two from the past, even if it'd only be an illusion, I'd love to change some terrbile decisions I made...

It’s very rare. More often I have near lucid dreams where I’m not quite sure if I’m asleep and I’ll perform an action I’m doing in my dream and wake myself up.
